A YES vote would fund energy-related improvements that would cut energy costs, enhance the learning environment, and address health and safety concerns.
The Maine Bureau of General Services has identified tens of millions of dollars in needed repairs and upgrades at Maine's public colleges and universities. Question 2 would help address the most pressing of these needs related to weatherization and energy efficiencies. Doing so would help cut costs and improve the learning environment for Maine students.
